Good evening, dear vapers and connoisseurs of delicious steam. Today we will continue our acquaintance with the activities of Fakirsmods. Not so long ago we were talking about a mod from the ILLUSIA series ( _read a detailed review_ ), then it was a regular model, a regular mechanical mod, which, to be honest, did not get a lot of positive feedback from vapers from around the world, and “wow cool” reviews , the developers did not wait. After a little rethinking of the failure and the first experience in creating high-quality devices of the High-End series , the company decided to make a small restart and now offers us another model of the series in which they added a board whether this will save developers or not – time will tell. Fakirsmods Companyon the market not so long ago, they have atomizers and mods there, but they still have not won fame, perhaps this is due to pricing policy. But, unfortunately, neither of these guys are taught either by the mod that we are considering today also from the non-budget category, and it costs pretty decent money. Okay, let’s talk about the price a little later, but for now let’s get to know what has changed in the second model of the series, what has been added and what has been improved, and based on this we will draw a conclusion on the price, is it worth it or not.
No changes in terms of packaging can be seen, like the previous model, the new version of the mod comes in familiar packaging, a black cardboard box on top is wrapped in a thin layer of cardboard, on which there are inscriptions of the company name, and there is a bright print. On the box, on the lid itself, the name of the company of the manufacturer is written in silver letters, well, that’s all with regard to the design of the box. We go further, open the box and we are immediately greeted by a warranty card with manually entered mod manufacturing date, batch number and so on. Waiting for something else in the configuration? Alas, except for the mod and the warranty card in the box, you will not find anything else. No, I’m sorry, the kit comes with a second cover, with which you can use 18,650 format factor batteries in this mod.
As you can see at first glance, nothing special has changed in terms of design, the same format of mods remains. The mod also works on batteries of three different format factors (20,700 / 21,700 and 18,650). Two additional buttons appeared on the case, which are placed on one of the side faces, these are buttons with which you can control the mod’s parameters. It is interesting that the informative display itself was located at the bottom, whether it is convenient or not – probably the developers know better. All also remained and two basic materials from which the fashion itself is made, or rather, the materials that we see in the design – stainless steel and wood. The battery compartment lid has high-quality engravings, just like the steel insert on the side face.
